The most resourceful and large place for rock climbing in Bulgaria is the Vratsa area called Vratzata. It is situated in the norteastern slope of Vrats mountain.

Vratzata is a picturesque and high rocky difile, a gorge of the Leva River.

The vertical rocks end in sharp crags which give the gorge even more impressive appearance and attracts the brave mountain climbers.
